The beach
Sa Pedrera, also called Atlantis, is an old "quarry" where stone was extracted for the buildings of the city of Ibiza. Nowadays it is a very well-known place because of the mysticism that surrounds it. It has a west orientation with which you can see beautiful sunsets that illuminate all the carved rock of the site.
Notes
Old marès quarry where many hippies carved different figures some time ago. There are several natural pools. We recommend bringing plenty of water because the climb back is very hard. There is a hiking trail very close to Torre d'es Savinar, also called Torre d'es Pirata.

How to get there
- 1Ibiza - Sant Josep road
From the Ibiza-Sant Josep road, PM-803, we will turn towards Es Cubells or Cala d'Hort. There are two roads we can take: a detour to Sant Josep and another halfway between Sant Josep and Ibiza airport.
- 2Road PM-803-1 Es Cubells
We will always continue in the direction of Cala d'Hort or Es Cubells. We will see a restaurant / supermarket called C'an Mestre on our left, and shortly after we will have to turn to our right along a street where there is a sign for Cala d'Hort.
- 3Detour "Torre d'es Savinar"
After 3.6 km from the indicated junction of the PM-803-1 towards Cala d'hort, just at a 90-degree bend where the main road follows, we have to turn "straight" along a dirt road. There are signs to the Torre d'es Savinar, also known as Torre del Pirata.
- 4to park
On our left we can park on an embankment. We will continue on the dirt road until we reach a metal fence, where we will continue to our left. It's about trying to get to the "left" side of the mountain that we will see from the front where the path down to our swimming area is.
- 5paths
There are many trails of varying difficulty. It is best to use the one that runs under the climbing routes that open along the entire vertical wall to our right when going down the slope. There is about 300 meters of descent, in sections between bushes and sand. We recommend bringing plenty of water for the climb, as it gets very heavy.
