The beach
Platja de Macarelleta is a small cove to the west of Macarella. It is a beautiful area surrounded by cliffs and forest. Its access is the same as in Macarella, there are two car parks: a private 5€/day and a public one further away.
Notes
* 2018 Traffic to macarella and macarelleta beaches is prohibited; a bus leaving from "Via Perimetral" in Ciudadela has been set up. Tickets must be purchased beforehand www.bus2macarella.com price 4.5 / trip. The restaurant is in Macarella but there is a short path until Macarelleta. Restaurant recommended. It is a nudist and very small cove, therefore, it is very crowded in high season. Buoys area delimiting the swimming area. Reachable from Platja de Macarella by a path towards the right.

How to get there
- 1From the Port of Ciutadella
From the port, continue straight until the fifth roundabout. The directions to Cala Macarella begin here. There are signs indicating if parking spaces are available, although it is recommended to go very early as it fills up quickly.

We just have to follow the signs at the intersections. It is perfectly signposted and we can even see, depending on the time of the season, parking information sites.
- 3path
There is an information sign in the car park that says 15 minutes to Cala Macarella, but then we have to continue on another path to our right to reach Macarelleta.
