The beach
Cala Sant Esteve has been a strategic location for the defence of several civilizations, hence we can find the remains of Sant Felip castle dating from the 16th century, Fort Marlborugh excavated in the rock, of British origin and the defence tower already rebuilt and open to the public called Torre del Penjat.
Notes
There is an ancient defence tower, a British fortress and the remains of a castle dated from the 16th century. Two accessible areas from land: at the end of the sea inlet full of stones and piers and at the beginning of the inlet on the southern side once used as a quarry, natural pools are originated now.
