The beach
Binimel.la is a pristine beach in the Marine Reserve in northern Menorca. Approaching the beach there are two small wooden bridges enabled to cross the nearby wetland where different birds live. This beach has two swimming spots, the sandy area which is reached first and a small cove to the east.
Notes
The last stretch of the road leading to the parking is a stony path, but it is easily accessed by car up to the nearby restaurant. Only about a 10 minute walk to the beach. Restaurant overlooking the beach, no luxuries but good. Fishing permitted with limitations, underwater prohibited.

How to get there
- 1From Es Mercadal
It is preferable to access El Mercadal from the easternmost roundabout, from the first we find from Mahón, as at these roundabouts we will see signs to the beaches ('playas'). Just surround Es Mercadal on the East side, by the roundabouts, until you reach Camí de Tramontana.
- 2Camí de Tramontana
We will follow the paved road; at the junctions we wil see signs to the different northern beaches. In our case, we will continue towards Binimel.la.
- 3Detour towards Pegonda or Binimel.la
We will get to a detour, a very wide gravel road with signs indicating "Pregonda and Platja de Binimel.la". After 1.5 km we wil get to a restaurant near Binimel.la where there is space for half a hundred cars on the road verges.

Once the car is parked, we must head to the beach along a path through a small wetland which is formed after the beach.
