Sunset Point Resort, Sportsbar & Apartments is a one-of-a-kind resort in Ibiza, open all year and set in San Antonio bay, on the west coast. In a quiet residential area of Cala de Bou, it is a five-minute walk from the beach and the shopping area, with bars, restaurants, banks, a pharmacy and supermarkets. The centre of San Antonio is 5 minutes by car, a 25-minute walk along the seafront or 10 minutes by boat on the water taxis that cross the bay.
It has ten apartments with air conditioning, a double bedroom, a full bathroom, a fitted kitchen and a large living room with a terrace, sea views and sunsets. There is also a sports bar and café with pool, table football and a 50-inch television, a solarium terrace with a pool, a chill-out tent, a barbecue patio and gardens with pines and orange trees. It is a place to rest in an Ibizan setting, and it also offers water sports and made-to-measure activities.
Location
Cala Bassa (or Cala de Bou) is the beach of the official surf and SUP club of Ibiza and Formentera, a member of the Spanish Surf Federation. The club's facilities are at the Sunset Point hotel, 5 km away, in Cala de Bou. Cala Bassa is the base for exploring the wild coast and the natural park of western Ibiza, with clear water, coves, caves, cliffs and islands. There are lessons and trips for every level, with qualified instructors and local guides.
Lessons
Sport is at the heart of the resort: the official surf and SUP school of Ibiza and Formentera, packages for kitesurf, wakeboard, wakesurf, diving, freediving, swimming, aquagym and sailing, plus golf, tennis, horse riding, skateboard, yoga and capoeira. It arranges boat charters and offshore sport fishing, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, scooter, enduro and quad trips. Everything is run by qualified instructors and local guides. It also hosts sports events, private parties, incentives, team building, hen and stag parties, weddings and honeymoons. In May 2010, Roxy and Sunset Point organised Roxy Surf Anywhere in Ibiza, and the resort hosted the 6 riders and world champions, along with journalists and the organising team.
