The beach
Macar Petit is a pebble beach facing East. It is a few minutes from the famous Cala Tirant and in the evening we can see the whole urbanization lit up. Access is simple via Camí de Cavalls. It is a Marine Reserve, so fishing is limited.
Notes
Little frequented place and very close to Cala Tirant. Beautiful views of the entire Platges de Fornells area. It must be accessed from the north side of the cove, from our perspective it is the left looking towards the sea. There is a small slope that gives us access to the beach.

How to get there
- 1It's Mercadal
Exit Mercadal in the direction of Fornells. After a few kilometers we will reach a roundabout where there is a metal sculpture of three people dancing, we must continue towards Binimellà or Far de Cavalleria.
- 2Cala Tirant detour
We must turn to our right by the detour that indicates Cala Tirant. It is a very wide dirt and gravel road.
- 3"Welcome to Cala Tirant" poster
We will follow this path almost entirely. When we see the "Welcome to Cala Tirant" sign we have to turn left. The road is worse, it has potholes and climbs a slope.
- 4Horse path
We will continue along it for about a kilometer until we see two wooden posts with a red sign indicating the next coves along Camí de Cavalls. Park here and continue along this new road, it is on the right and we will see the sea.
- 5Access to the cove
From the parking lot to the cove is about 500 meters in a straight line. Access to the bathing area must be made from its north side, from the left as we look towards the sea.
