The beach
Platja d'en Patet is a small swimming area protected from the waves very close to Cala Viola. The beginning of the Camí de Cavalls in this area is on the same road to the Lighthouse, between the museum and the metal gate of access to the Lighthouse grounds. There is a post with a red sign indicating the ruins of an ancient Roman city
Notes
Small and beautiful hidden cove where there is an area shaded by reeds. It is divided into three areas, the most comfortable and sandy is the central one, with just 8 meters of coastline. A section must be accessed via Camí de Cavalls from the Far de Cavalleria road. Walking just about 15 minutes.

How to get there
- 1It's Mercadal
Enter the town from Mercadal and follow the signs to the Lighthouse of Cavalleria.
- 2Cavalry Lighthouse
There is no loss. We must continue the directions to the lighthouse as we will be a few meters before we arrive. We will continue for several kilometers until we reach a metal gate for access to the grounds of the lighthouse. We park before entering and walk backwards, we will look for the beginning of Camí de Cavalls which is just before the metal gate in the East direction.
- 3Horse path
Walking backwards (about 200 meters) we will find the wooden post with the red sign indicating the nearby coves and the Camí de Cavalls. We will pass the ruins of an ancient Roman city and continue along this path.
- 4Beach 15 minutes
Following the Camí de Cavalls, a section of which coincides with a cement area, we will arrive in just a few minutes at Platja d'en Patet.
